Found this site while randomly searching for fun facts about Upper Black Eddy.
It’s a must read for anyone interested in the state of modern education; it’s also a good wtf? read for anyone vaguely familar with Upper Black Eddy. The brief article contains some facts, but also the closing sentence(s):

It’s a GLORIOUS day
UpperBlackEddy.us is a real website (or as real as a website hosted by Tumblr, located on a virtual server owned by Amazon can be). UpperBlackEddy.us has been indexed by Google.
Granted, the site initially showed up on page 30 of the search results, just two places below Friendly Carpet Cleaning of Upper Black Eddy, but with a little effort and repeat searches and clicking through to the F*@$ing Weather, I’ve been able to raise it to Page 10.
Of course, this new development brings with it a new sense of obligation and responsibility.
